Appointment-Temporary posts of Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Assistant/ Helpers at Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, ANGRAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad / walkin-interview – September 26, 2013.

It is proposed to engage Senior Research Fellow and Skilled Assistant / Helpers on temporary basis at
Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, ANGRAU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad under the RKVY Project on “Seed production and storage technology of soybean at farmers’ level in Andhra Pradesh” which includes survey, seed production, seed quality, seed research and extension activities etc.

I Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)

1. No. of posts : 1 (one temporary post)

Place of work : One post (temporary) at Regional Sugarcane & Rice Research Station, Rudrur,
Nizamabad district

2. Duration : From September, 2013 to March, 2014

3. Qualifications : M.Sc. (Ag.) in Seed Science and Technology, Agronomy, Genetics & Plant Breeding, Plant Physiology, Entomology, Plant pathology, Soil Science &Agriculture Chemistry,Horticulture, Agriculture Extension, Agricultural Economics, Bio technology, Microbiology and Bio-energy, MABM and Environmental Science or relevant experience in the field of seed production

4. Description of :  Conduct of bench mark survey in Adilabad and Nizamabad districtsduties Conduct of seed production and seed research experimentsConduct of research on seed processinand storageConduct of extension activities and training programmesConduct of seed quality tests in the laboratory Preparation of reports

5. Salary : Rs. 15,000/- (Consolidated pay) per month

II Name of the Post Skilled Assistant/Helper

1. No. of posts : 2 (Two temporary posts )Place of work : Department of Seed Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad

2. Duration : From September, 2013 to March, 2014

3. Experience : Experience in field operations and laboratory work

4. Description of duties: Assisting in seed production, seed research, seed processing, seed quality tests and seed storage activities in the field and laboratory

5. Salary : Rs. 5,000/- (Consolidated pay) per monthDate of walk-in-interview : 26 September, 2013

 The place of work for SRF post is at Regional Sugarcane & Rice Research Station, Rudrur.
 The application should accompany with bio-data duly affixing a latest photograph along with the
photo copies of memos of qualifing examination passed, proof of age, photo copy of publications
if any, name and addresses of the two references, experience and No Objection Certificate (if
employed) and other documents has to be submitted at the time of interview.
 Walk-in-Interview will be held on 26.09.2013 at 11.00 am at office of Department of Seed
Science and Technology, College of Agriculture, Rajendranagar, ANGRAU, Hyderabad-
30. No interview cards will be separately sent. The applicants can directly attend the interview
on the said date with biodata and all the original certificates and other documents.

 The age limit is 35 years for the above posts and is purely temporary.
